What we do at prayer meeting

Any church that desires to be faithful is a praying church. We read in the book of Acts that the early church prayed, and they prayed together! We want to do likewise.

Our timing is deliberate--Sunday nights at 7:00 PM--because we want to take time to prepare for Sunday morning worship!

We begin our time with reading from the word of God, usually a few verses. Pastor Roman will then speak for a few minutes on what we read from, in order to help prepare our hearts. Then we give time for those in attendance to lift up any praises to God they have or any prayer requests.

After that, we simply pray. And everyone is given the opportunity if they want to.

When we pray, we desire to have our hearts set upon the Lord and for all of our requests to come in light of His glorious character. That way, our desires and requests are in accordance with His.
