Sermons

You'll find several sermons below to watch to get an idea of the ministry of the word of God at our church!

However, you'll find our most recent messages on our YouTube channel.

We hope this will serve as a place for members to revisit past messages, or for potential visitors to get a preview.

"He Who Has Ears to Hear, Let Him Hear" (Mark 4:1-20)

We continue our study in the Gospel of Mark, now moving to the beginning of Jesus' use of parables. (7/27/25)

"The Fairest of All" (Psalm 45)

This week's message from pastor Roman is on the beautiful King of Psalm 45 and His beautiful bride. This ultimately points to the marriage between Christ and His Church.

"Are You in Jesus' Family?" (Mark 3:13-19, 31-35)

This week, we look at Jesus' selection of the 12 apostles along with His response to family members seeking Him.

In this passage, Jesus makes a sharp distinction as to who His true family members are: those who do the will of God.

Are you a child of God? Listen to this message and hear how you can be!

"Christ the Mighty One" (Mark 3:20-30)

This week in Mark's Gospel, we see more controversy between Jesus and the religious leaders. This time, however, things escalate when scribes accuse Jesus of casting out demons by the power of Satan.

"The Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath" (Mark 2:23-3:12)

Pastor Roman continues his series in the Gospel of Mark. This message consists of yet another episode of controversy between Jesus and the Pharisees, this time regarding the Sabbath.Through these two interactions between Jesus and the Pharisees, Christ points us to Himself as the One who rightly interprets the principle of Sabbath rest. Jesus shows us that ultimate rest and restoration are to be found only in Him.

"New Wine in Old Wineskins?" (Mark 2:18-22)

In this sermon on Mark 2:18-22, pastor Roman shows us two aspects of the new life Jesus brings.

(1) New Understanding of Jesus' Mission (2) New Capacities (or New Room) for Jesus' Life

"JesUS, WHAT A FRIEND FOR SINNERS!"

Join us as we explore Mark 2:13–17 in this powerful message, "Jesus, What a Friend for Sinners!" In this passage, we see Jesus call Levi (Matthew), a despised tax collector, to follow Him—showing that no one is beyond the reach of His grace.Like a Great Physician, Jesus draws near not to affirm sin, but to heal sinners from the inside out. This sermon reminds us that Christ calls us not because we are righteous, but because we are sick with sin and in desperate need of His remedy. Whether you're far from God or a believer struggling with ongoing sin, this message is for you.

"Who Shall Ascend the Hill of the Lord?" (Psalm 24)

"Who Shall Ascend the Hill of the Lord?" (Psalm 24)   6/1/25

An Ascension Day sermon from Pastor Roman on Psalm 24.

"An Able and Willing Savior" (Mark 1:21-45)

"An Able and Willing Savior" (Mark 1:21-45)

We continue our series in the Gospel of Mark. This week we take a closer look at three of Jesus' miracles and how they display His power and compassion to those who need Him.(1) Jesus rescues us from Satan's grasp (1:21-28). (2) Jesus heals our sin-sick hearts (1:29-39) (3) Jesus cleanses us from sin (1:40-45)

"Follow the King" (Mark 1:14-20)

"Follow the King" (Mark 1:14-20)

Pastor Roman continues his series in the Gospel of Mark, looking at Christ's call to His first four disciples to follow Him.Jesus calls all His disciples to follow Him, become fishers of men, and to cast the net of the gospel all around.

"The Beloved Son" (Mark 1:9-13)

"The Beloved Son" (Mark 1:9-13)
